This design is based off the cover art of Moon of the Crusted Snow. Layering the elements of the cover art into book pages gives the otherwise simplified design added depth. Reducing the colours to shades of blues and whites helped convey the cold and isolation central to the books story, while also giving a strong visual contrast.
