My interest in libraries began at an early age. They fostered my love of knowledge so much that I wanted to work in a library. I attended UFV in Abbotsford, where I earned my Library Technician Diploma in 2000. Before joining the NIC Campbell River Campus Library and Learning Commons in 2015, I worked in a variety of public, K-12 and academic libraries. Academic libraries are my favourite!
I live in Merville amongst a forest and enjoy spending my time gardening (beating back the forest), exercising, reading (surprise, surprise) and relaxing with my husband and our two cats. I am a proud rugby mom and can be found watching my son play professional rugby with the Seattle Seawolves.
I am excited to be part of the NIC Library and Learning Commons team and to contribute to your academic success.
Favourite books: Daughters of Copper Woman, British Columbia Coast Names, Ishmael and Goodnight Moon.
