The world of work is changing rapidly and it can be challenging, even intimidating, to decide upon a career path when you don’t know much about the profession, industry or anyone who works in that field. The TALK TO A PRO Living Library is an event that brings together professionals and NIC students who perhaps would not normally have a chance to speak one-on-one and for professionals to share their experience of how they launched their careers and to provide some insight on what they do at work as well as what is changing in their field.
The TALK TO A PRO Living Library event will take place the week of March 7-11, 2022. During the event, NIC Student Readers “check out” Books for 30 minutes at a time in order to hear details about a professional person’s career path and ask questions.
