Truth and Reconciliation

The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30th is an important day to recognize the experiences of residential school survivors. The date was chosen for the time of the year in which children were taken from their homes to residential schools. Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity to hold conversations on all aspects of residential schools, to remember those who never returned home, and to show your commitment to reconciliation.
