For most library resources, simply cutting and pasting the link from the browser's address bar will not work. You need to confirm if the resource provides a specific link, sometimes referred to as a persistent URL or a permalink.
Visit the Copyright Webpage before adding e-resource links to Brightspace or Coursepacks/Handouts.

Click on the "Permalink" in the Tools sidebar on the right.
ProQuest
Click on the Abstract/Details tab then scroll down and look for the Document URL.
