Waubgeshig Rice is a Canadian author and journalist. He is from the Wasauksing First Nation near Parry Sound, Ontario but currently lives in Sudbury. Waubgeshig worked as a journalist, mostly for CBC, for many years before deciding to be a writer and storyteller full-time.
