Academic Integrity

As members of an academic community, students are accountable for the integrity of their work in accordance with NIC's Code of Conduct. This means:

"Behaving with honesty and truthfulness in all work presented towards an academic credential, publishing, reporting of transcripts, and other academic-related activities."

Academic integrity includes using information and resources honestly and responsibly, and acknowledging the work of others through proper attribution and citation.

On the NIC Library's Citation Guides and Writing Support pages you will find links to tutorials and resources to help you become a better researcher and writer through proper attribution and citation of your sources.

For more information, please see NIC Library's page Plagiarism: Academic Integrity.
