The most common issue for people accessing BlueJeans on a computer (not mobile) is not knowing which video, microphone and speakers are connected to their computer – or they may have NO microphone or web cam and think they do.
Audio also may be muted (speakers are off/set to ‘0’ or no sound). You will see when participants join (in the People tab) whether they have video or audio turned off (strikethrough the mic or video icon) or not connected (no mic or video icon).
In BlueJeans meeting look for a “Settings” menu (*star or cog wheel - top right corner) that shows options for microphone, speakers and video. Once audio and video connections are set things tend to be much easier. More info here about video and audio troubleshooting.
Mobile (Cell Phones & Tablets)
BlueJeans works on mobile phones but anytime someone is on a poor wireless connection – audio and video will be slower and possibly not clear. Always encourage your participants to be at a wired connection if they can.
For best quality of meetings/calls: close all other tabs and applications (watching videos, have other applications open using the Internet). See more here on mobile.
