Place a hold on a book or video
Holds can be placed on most books and videos in the collection. Exceptions include reference materials and course reserves.
Search our collection online. Once you have located the title you are interested in, click Place Hold:
The next screen will prompt you to enter your myNIC or community borrower ID, password, and your preferred campus pick-up location. Items being transferred from one campus to another can take a couple of days. You will receive an email notification when your item is ready to pick up.
Note: If you are a community borrower and do not know your PIN, you can obtain it from Library staff either in person or by telephone.
Find course reserves
You can find course materials that have been put on reserve by your instructor.
1) From the library homepage, select Advanced Search below the central search bar.
2) Next, select Find Course Reserves from the uppermost ribbon.
3) Finally, select Course Reserves from the top ribbon. You can then search for course materials by instructor, course code, or course name.
If you are looking for specific materials, please contact your instructor or book a research appointment with a library staff member.
