Outlook for Mobile Devices
In order to set up your email on your smartphone or mobile device, you can download Outlook from your device's app store:
-NOTE: If you have added your NIC Email through an app on a device prior to August 2nd 2022 you will need to delete that account and re-add it using the steps below-
Open the Outlook app and enter your NIC student email address (eg. jstudent@northislandcollege.ca) then tap Add Account (for iPhone) or tap CONTINUE (for Android)
If asked what kind of account you are setting up choose Exchange/365
Enter your current NIC password and then tap Sign In.
Your Student email account should be added successfully, and you can now check your Email.
To add a new account in Outlook, tap your Avatar right beside "Inbox" at the top left-hand corner.
Tap the Setting Gear icon at the lower left-hand corner.
Tap Add Email Account (If asked for account type use Exchange/365)
Add your NIC Email address as described above

Office Apps for Tablets/Smart Phones
You can download Office 365 applications for your Tablet or Smart phone.
Simply go to your mobile App Store (Google Play or App Store) and install the apps individually.
Once the apps are installed, you will be prompted to sign in using your @northislandcollege.ca email address and myNIC password.

Get it from the Apple iOS App Store
Get it from the Google Play Store
Once downloaded, you'll need to connect to the NIC Kaltura Media Space site https://video.nic.bc.ca
Then sign in to your student account using your @northislandcollege.ca email address:
Once signed in you will be able to upload video directly to your My Media Space from your mobile device!
