Examples |
Include the authors' last names connected with and and page number placed in brackets at the end of a sentence. |
Consider this a paraphrased sentence (Roberts and Klibanoff 101). |
Include both author's names as part of the sentence; include the page number in brackets. The first time the authors are mentioned in text use their full name (excluding middle initials), and use their last name's only after that. |
According to Gene Roberts and Hank Klibanoff, "consider this a direct quote" (101). Roberts and Klibanoff go on to argue that this is a paraphrased sentence (102). |
Remember, in-text citation formatting may change depending on a number of factors.
