Sometimes reserves require modification. For example,
an Instructor may request a loan period alteration
there may be a change in Faculty assigned to a course
you may need to add another course or Instructor to an existing record
In Workflows select: Reserves > Reserve Information > Modify Reserve. Click on your relevant campus if necessary, e.g. RESV-Camp, and scan the item’s barcode.
Under the Basic Info tab fields:
Circulation rule: select from drop-down menu
Expiry: DD/MM/YYYY (date supplied by instructor, or NEVER if instructor requests no end-date)
Status: Current or Dormant
Check that the Allow manual circ rule box is ticked.
Leave everything else as is
Under the Individual Reserve tab fields:
Click in the blank space under the tab, “New Stage” to get a drop-down menu. Change “New Stage” to: Active or Inactive
Instructor and/or course ID may be changed by clicking on the gadget devices.
Click: Modify and Close.
Under Reserve Information select Individual Reserve:
Session Preferences: set for relevant library > OK
Scan item
Select: Add Instructor / Course Record
Enter information (use widget button if necessary) by clicking on Add instructor / Course Record
