Article databases are accessible from the NIC Library homepage at: http://library.nic.bc.ca > Articles & Databases. Indexes available are in alphabetical order.
All databases are available off-campus to NIC students and staff.

Articles or citations may be printed to a local printer, e-mailed or saved to an account created within the database. A copy of the article can then be ordered by completing an interlibrary loan form.
When doing a regular search an e-book will show up as ‘electronic resource’. Click on ‘URL’ to view book. E-books can be browsed or signed out at this screen (see instructions on the screen)
To search for all e-books in NIC collection:
Open the Advanced Search screen
Scroll down to Search Limits section (leave all the boxes blank)
Item type: Electronic Book > Search.
Physical Items, and E-Books in the library collection can be searched for In Workflows under any tab. See Common Tasks > Item Search and Display and search by keyword, title, subject, author, call#, periodical title etc.
Workflows cannot be used to search the article databases, these must be searched using the OPAC
