Books may be temporarily loaned to another campus library at the request of library staff or an instructor. The cataloguer will temporarily change the location of the item in the record to the new library, but the barcode will not change.
If the book is to be placed on reserve, the reserve record must be completely removed before the book is returned to its originating campus. Keep a note when the items are to be returned to the originating library. Library Tech Services should then be notified and the catalogue record will be changed back.
