In-text Citation Guidelines

Examples

1.

Author or screen name and year of publication placed in brackets at the end of a paraphrased sentence.

Consider this a paraphrased sentence (angela, 2015).

2.

Sentence beginning with author or screen name, followed immediately by date in brackets.

According to angela (2015), "consider this a direct quote".

Remember, in-text citation formatting may change depending on a number of factors.

See Number of Authors, Publication Date, and Page/Paragraph Number or Heading for more information.
