TEMPLATE:

Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (Year of publication). Title of article in sentence case: Capitalize the first word of the subtitle. Title of Journal in Mixed Case and Italics, volume number in italics(issue number in brackets), first page-last page.

 

EXAMPLE:

Ware, M. E., Badura, A. S., & Davis, S. F. (2002). Using student scholarship to develop student research and writing skills. Teaching of Psychology, 29(2), 151-154.

Notes:

  • Author, A. A. = Author's surname followed by first and middle initials, when available.
  • If no date is visible, use the abbreviations n.d.
  • Provide surnames and initials for up to and including 20 authors.
  • When there are two to 20 authors, use an ampersand (&) before the final author's name.
  • When there are 21 or more authors, include the first 19 authors' names, insert an ellipsis (...), and then add the final author's name.
  • Do not include the database name or URL.
