ILL Email Inboxes

Interlibrary Loans are managed through a special Interlibrary Loan email account. There is one main account (ILL-NIC), which receives notifications of article requests, as well as all incoming articles and TitanFile notifications for all campuses. This account is monitored by Library Technicians III & II.    

ILL-CV is used to track ILL requests for each campus. This mailbox is monitored by local staff. ILL requests once processed, are saved via “Post Reply” with the ILLume number in the subject line, and the original email request is then deleted. 

Media requests, from both NIC staff and outside institutions, automatically go to the Media-NIC mailbox.  The designated Media library staff person at your campus should monitor this mailbox.  See: BC ELN website

Note: queries, problems etc. associated with any requests done via ILLume (article, book or media) should be directed to the ILLume mediator to handle.  Queries or problems for media items done via e-mail/phone are handled by the appropriate Media designate.
