Banners

Banners are used on items being sent to another campus or another library.  This indicates to the receiving library that it is an item that comes from outside their campus/institution.  It also contains information about the loan. 

Books being mailed to distance students should include a pale grey banner which gives the student information on returning the item, due date, fines etc.  

Reserved Media banners (in your color) are used for media items reserved for Inter-Campus bookings. Fill out the banner with instructor’s ID number & campus, pull date, and show date. 

CV – blue  

CR – pink  

PA – green  

Mixalakwila - gold 

Use the white banner when receiving an Interlibrary Loan from another institution and before it goes out to your student.  Include the name of the lending library, our borrower’s ID number, borrower’s contact information, our request number and due date

There are 2 Media banners.  Red Media banners are used for media items booked by another institution; include the name of the borrowing institution, Media loan number, pull date and show date. 

White Media banners are used for media items borrowed from another institution; include the name of the lending institution, instructor’s ID number, Media loan number and due date.  Due date is the day after the show date.  Items must be returned promptly to accommodate other show dates.
